Biography

Known as Frank Callahan, from Philadelphia, one of the eight Flower City Conspiracy members arrested Sept 6, 1970 for the Rochester draft-board/FBI-office raid. Convicted on all counts and sentenced to seventeen to twenty-two months.

The contemporary Friends Journal report identifies Frank Callahan as a Catholic student at St. Joseph's College who combined a full academic load with full-time work as a radio announcer and received the Freedom Foundation's George Washington Medal. Its February 1971 account places him in custody in Pennsylvania without naming the institution.
