Will Sanders was a Black youth sentenced to death in South Carolina for the alleged murder of a fifty-nine-year-old white woman. The International Labor Defense reported that his trial, conviction and sentencing took one hour and seventeen minutes, with the jury deliberating for twenty-eight minutes. It described him as sixteen and appealed for protests against his execution. South Carolina executed him by electrocution on March 3, 1933.
