Biography

Valerie Bridges was a young Nisqually activist of the Frank's Landing family central to the treaty fishing-rights struggle on the Nisqually River. A daughter of Al and Maiselle Bridges, she was arrested at fish-in protests in the 1960s and at the 1970 Fort Lawton takeover in Seattle.
