Biography
Suzette Bridges, later Suzette Mills, was a Nisqually activist from the Frank’s Landing family at the center of the treaty fishing-rights struggle. She organized support for the 1968 fish-in encampment and traveled with Hank Adams to build alliances for the campaign. Although accounts describe repeated arrests within the Bridges family and substantial bail costs for arrested fishers, the reviewed records do not identify a specific jail booking or custodial sentence for Suzette, so no time-served counter is entered.
