Biography

RNA citizen from Milwaukee, age 24 at the time of the raid. Married to Hekima Ana. Held about 10 months in Mississippi custody before release.

Obadele reports release after ten months in state custody and a separate three-year federal sentence. The rounded state interval is not an exact day count or the entire later federal imprisonment. The narrative is a participant’s account of the RNA-11 prosecutions, and its political assessments are attributed to its author. Source: https://www.jstor.org/stable/41065737#page=2

The RNA account reports that the Fifth Circuit reversed Tamu Sana’s federal conviction; this does not alter the separately recorded ten months in initial state custody.
