Biography
Addis Ababa, also known as Dennis Paul Shillingford, was a Republic of New Afrika defendant. A federal appellate opinion records a seven-year Mississippi sentence for assault with intent to kill and state imprisonment from August 18, 1971 through December 2, 1975. A separate federal prosecution produced a twelve-year sentence; in 1978 the appeals court remanded for correction of overlapping punishment. His complete federal custody history remains unresolved.
Obadele’s1974 account describes two concurrent ten-year state terms and an original twelve-year federal sentence. The later appellate record already cited in this profile instead describes a seven-year state sentence and a subsequent federal sentence correction. The contemporary account is retained as an attributed differing sentence history; it does not replace the court-documented state interval or establish a new federal admission. The narrative is a participant’s account of the RNA-11 prosecutions, and its political assessments are attributed to its author. Source: https://www.jstor.org/stable/41065737#page=2

The appellate court gives the state custody interval explicitly. It also describes a separate twelve-year federal sentence, remanded for correction in 1978; its eventual custody endpoint remains unresolved.
