Born Brenda Blount. Served as RNA Minister of Information at the time of the August 18, 1971 raid. One of three women among the RNA-11.
Obadele identifies Salim as one of the three arrested with him at the RNA office, separate from the Lewis Street residence where the shooting occurred. He reports habeas-corpus release after six weeks at Parchman, alongside Tawwab Nkrumah and Spade de Mau Mau.
