Biography
Ivan Harrison Hunter, a self-described member of the far-right Boogaloo movement from Boerne, Texas, traveled to Minneapolis during the unrest following George Floyd’s murder. On May 28, 2020, he fired 13 rifle rounds into the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct while people were inside. Federal agents arrested Hunter in San Antonio on October 21, 2020. He pleaded guilty to rioting on September 30, 2021, and on April 5, 2022 a federal judge sentenced him to 52 months in prison and three years of supervised release.
