On May 28, 2020 as part of ongoing protests sparked by George Floyd's murder, Marc Bell Gonzales engaged with other individuals in conduct designed to accelerate a fire in the Wells Fargo Bank building in south Minneapolis. Sentenced to 37 months federal prison plus 3 years supervised release.
