Biography

IWW organizer George Aldridge was arrested with Jack Terrell in the June1919 Enid roundup and avoided a syndicalism conviction. White reports that months later he was charged with a railroad policeman murder he did not commit and held in custody. The account says he and fellow suspects were offered freedom if they paid seventy-five cents per day detained. It does not establish acceptance, an exact discharge, final disposition or complete duration. Ahmed A.
