Biography
Fabio Simon Younes Arboleda, age 72, FARC associate; extradited from Colombia and pleaded guilty to conspiring to import cocaine into the United States. 120 months federal prison + 3 years supervised release.
Colombia’s Supreme Court order AP4733-2018, dated October 31, 2018, records his capture in Bogotá on April 9, 2018 pursuant to an Interpol red notice and the ensuing U.S. extradition request. At that stage it declined referral to the peace jurisdiction and denied requests for nullity or suspension while ordering further evidence about his asserted FARC status and related Colombian proceedings. The order was not a final extradition authorization or proof of entry into U.S. prison. April 9 is a Colombian capture date; it cannot establish the start of physical U.S. incarceration. 2010s audit verified October 12, 2026: The Supreme Court decision AP4733-2018, page 2 (extracted and visually checked) and Constitutional Court decision A579-18, paragraph 3.1 establish arrest in Bogota on April 9, 2018, not April 12. They document later confinement at La Picota, but do not identify a separate admission day; the unsupported April 12 admission and its derived duration were removed. The contemporary court report reproduces the judgment with imposition date June 27, 2023: ten years with credit for Colombian imprisonment. No actual release date was established.
