Biography
Plowshares peace activist named as a petitioner in the 1990 Special International Tribunal on Political Prisoners and Prisoners of War in the United States. Plowshares activists are arrested for symbolic acts of nuclear-disarmament protest at U.S. military and weapons-production facilities.
First Missouri Peace Planting arrest and chronology limits
The original October-November 1988 Post Amerikan report individually names Dorothy Eber, 63, of Villa Park, Illinois among those arrested at Missouri missile silos on August 15, 1988. That first arrest is now recorded at day precision. The newsletter says most participants went to Bates County Jail, but does not individually establish Eber's prison-admission day. A November 9 letter signed by Dorothy and other defendants says they were then out on bond awaiting sentencing. November 9 is therefore a status snapshot, not an exact discharge date and not release from her later federal sentence. The formerly entered March 8, 1956 birth date is removed because it is incompatible with this contemporary account of her age; no replacement birthday is guessed. The existing photograph's provenance is still under review and is not certified by this chronology correction.

Verified federal release through historical register
The original Fall 1990 Breakthrough, printed page 49 (physical PDF page 51), lists Dorothy Eber, 04996-045, at Alderson. The official BOP inmate locator, queried with that exact register, returns Dorothy Jane Eber and actual release January 2, 1991. The name, Alderson location and age are compatible with the independently documented peace activist, not Canadian author Dorothy Harley Eber.
The federal release is now recorded at day precision. Her initial August 15, 1988 arrest preceded a documented bail period, and the later federal admission day remains unverified. Neither the two-year imposed term nor a stale later roster is converted into an admission date or continuous time-served counter. Prior birthday and photograph-provenance notes are unchanged.

This dated source-specific identifier fills the previously blank number field; the listing supplies no new admission, release or completed custody duration.
