Biography

Wil Casey Floyd, age 33, of Elkhart Lake WI, was sentenced to 37 months federal prison for unlawful possession of a destructive device; he made and threw Molotov cocktails at police officers during the May 1, 2016 Black Bloc May Day parade in Seattle, igniting one officers trousers and burning his legs.

Arrest, sentencing and unresolved custody phases review October 13, 2026: SPD's original April 28, 2017 DOJ announcement establishes that morning's arrest. DOJ confirms June 1, 2018 sentencing and corrects the supervision/community-service terms. BOP matches the existing register and full name, age 41, with a latest April 16, 2024 noncustody date. This is not proof of uninterrupted imprisonment since the original arrest or admission. The unestablished original-case release, unsupported admission and 2146-day total are cleared; the latest federal endpoint is documented here without inventing intervening phases. A usable identified photograph remains unresolved.

Case

Charges: 26 USC 5861(d) and 5845(a)(8) unlawful possession of a destructive device - 2016 May Day Seattle Black Bloc Molotov-cocktail attack on police
Arrested: Apr 28, 2017
Sentenced: Jun 1, 2018
Sentence: 37 months imposed June 1, 2018, followed by three years supervised release and 100 hours community service. Arrested April 28, 2017 in Wisconsin, as individually documented in SPD's contemporary DOJ announcement. The legacy May 31, 2018 arrest/admission is unsupported. Actual initial continuous admission and original sentence's prison-exit day remain unresolved. BOP register 16095-089, Wil Casey Floyd, age 41, records a latest federal noncustody endpoint April 16, 2024, not April 15; intervening custody phases have not been established. That latest endpoint is not assigned as the original 37-month sentence's release, and no continuous 2146-day duration is retained.
