Biography
Walter Rozier was a Black Panther Party member in Oakland. Police arrested him in October 1974 after a shooting at the party’s Community Learning Center in which Panther Bruce “Deacon” Washington was killed while shielding children. Rozier, the only person arrested after the attack, was accused of withholding evidence. The available contemporary report does not give the exact arrest or release date or the final disposition.
