Biography

W. H. Kaufman was a "single taxer " from Olympia, Washington. W. H. Kaufman began serving a five-year prison sentence on August 13, 1918. He served in McNeil Island Penitentiary. Kaufman was convicted for stating "Liberty bonds are a disgrace to America."
