Biography
Vallentine Mink, printed Valentine Mink in the 1921 Senate table, was imprisoned at McNeil Island. A two-year sentence was imposed September 18, 1918; the official table records actual parole March 24, 1919 and separately lists July 9, 1919 as the term endpoint. Exact physical admission remains unverified.
1920s remaining-entry review: The 1921 Senate Amnesty and Pardon hearing, printed page 94 (PDF page 100), individually lists Valentine Mink under New Jersey. It explicitly reports parole release March 24, 1919. September 18, 1918 is in the sentencing column, not an admission column. The full original table page was visually checked. The unsupported 1920 release is replaced and the sentencing date is no longer represented as physical admission. No name or institution metadata is changed here.
