Biography

Stewart was arrested while sitting with Winters in a car outside the union meeting hall. The April issue identifies him among eight actual Riverside arrests and reports an imposed fifteen months term on two vagrancy counts. The article does not establish completion of the nominal term, exact admission or discharge. The surname-qualified name distinguishes this defendant from unrelated namesakes.
