Biography
Steve Domagalsky was a soldier caught up in the 1925 Hawaii Communist-soldier affair at Schofield Barracks — the 21st Infantry court-martial that also jailed Paul Crouch and Walter Trumbull. A former Red Army soldier, he was arrested and held and, by the account carried in New Masses, threatened with twenty years for refusing to testify for the government.
The April 23, 1925 report individually names this soldier in the Schofield Barracks group arrested February 19 and held incommunicado. This narrows the existing year-only arrest to that day, without supplying an exact release or complete custody total.
