R. Farrel was a union man whom the September 6, 1935 Voice of the Federation describes as actually in custody in Marin County, California. District Attorney Albert E. Bagshaw was reported as saying he would drop the case. That statement was prospective; the issue does not document an actual dismissal or physical release.
