Biography

Nicole Kissane is an animal rights activist from Southern California who, along with Joseph Buddenberg, was involved in anti-fur actions throughout San Diego. She pleaded guilty to vandalizing clothing stores that sold fur and their owners' homes. In other parts of the country, they've also freed animals held in captivity on fur farms, freeing thousands of animals and destroying their breeding records in Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. On July 20th, 2018, Nicole's support group announced that she had been released from prison.

Case

Charges: Federal conspiracy to violate the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (18 U.S.C. ss 43) - co-defendant with Joseph Buddenberg in a 2013-2014 cross-country campaign that released approximately 5,740 mink from fur farms in Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere, and vandalized a San Diego County fur retailer plus the home of its owner.
