Biography
Michael Devlyn Poulin was a military veteran and anti-war activist associated with Spokane, Washington. In October 2003 he damaged electrical transmission towers across four western states in an action he described as exposing the vulnerability of U.S. infrastructure and opposing American military policy. He pleaded guilty and received a 27-month sentence.
He was released on bail December 23, 2003 and reported to prison April 2, 2004. After imprisonment in Memphis and Sheridan, he was transferred to a Spokane halfway house November 16, 2005 and paroled January 25, 2006. The 27-month sentence was not 27 uninterrupted months in prison.
