Biography
Jonathan Hunter Kramer was arrested on September 12, 2026 after federal agents alleged that he obtained a semiautomatic rifle, magazines, and ammunition while preparing for what he called a “mission” inspired by ISIS. He remained in custody after his September 14 initial appearance while prosecutors sought detention without bond.
A federal affidavit sworn September 13, 2026 and filed September 16, 2026 separately documents an earlier period of Pennsylvania state juvenile custody. Following state charges in April 2023, the state court remanded Kramer to Pathways Adolescent Center in Oil City, Pennsylvania. He remained there in December 2024 and was released in March 2026, aged 20. The affidavit supplies months rather than exact admission and release days, and does not establish the state adjudication or sentence.
