Biography

John Robbins was from Miami, Arizona. John Robbins was sentenced to two years in prison, which he served in Leavenworth Penitentiary from March 1918 to January 18, 1920.

1920s custody review: The original Senate table, printed page 88, places John Robbins in the Arizona Espionage Act cases. It records sentencing on June 6, 1918 to two years and separately states out by expiration January 13, 1920. The inherited biography instead says January 18, 1920. Release is conservatively recorded at January 1920 month precision pending the individual prison register. The former June 6, 1920 release was unsupported sentence arithmetic. Sentencing is recorded separately, and the unverified admission date is removed; the biography also gives an unverified March 1918 start. Existing NARA photograph retained; its reverse identifies prisoner 12903 but provides no custody dates.
