The March 1920 One Big Union Monthly prisoner roster, under the printed name HENNING , ERNST, reports: Federal . Indicted Wichita , Sept. 24 , 1918. Conspiracy. Convicted Dec. 1919. 3 year sentence . Leavenworth Federal prison. This is the contemporary labor organization’s account. Indictment, bail and imposed sentence are distinguished from physical admission, actual release and complete time served; no missing custody endpoint is inferred. 1920s release-date review: The federal report individually identifies Ernest Henning, Leavenworth number 14823, as released or out by court order on June 17, 1921. That actual release replaces the previous endpoint; parole eligibility and sentence expiration are separate events. No later return is assumed.

1920s duration reconciliation: The source-supported interval 1919-12-18 through 1921-06-17 computes to 547 elapsed days (end minus start). This is the specific documented custody episode, not necessarily lifetime custody; earlier or later unquantified detention is excluded. Kohn own entry p106 explicitly says Leavenworth imprisonment began December18,1919. PrimaryJune17,1921 release gives547days. This supports I but does NOT support inherited same-day A; arrest remains separate concern. The previously blank audit expectation was superseded by this explicit evidence-based calculation; no event dates are changed here.
The March1922 official report lists Ernest Henning in List1 of convicted prisoners or parolees. The government entry reports Conspiracy and violating the espionage act, etc. a sentence of December 18, 1919, 3 years in Leavenworth.. Imposed terms, projected term-expiration dates, parole eligibility and intervals on bond are different measures; none is entered as a complete actual custody total. This attributed government entry is retained alongside the independently established individual chronology. [PDF10] The official report individually records June17,1921 release on bond or by court order. This is an accomplished physical-release event, distinct from parole eligibility and projected expiry. The sentence date is not automatically treated as original arrest or complete continuous prison admission. [PDF77]
