Biography
Jesse R. Van Camp was a Mine-Mill international representative prosecuted in the federal conspiracy case over Taft-Hartley non-Communist affidavits. His December 1959 conviction was reversed with the other defendants. At the retrial, the jury found him not guilty on September 20, 1963. He remained free on bail and did not serve a prison sentence.
