Biography

Marshall identifies Hubler as a 65-year-old Grahampton, Clearfield County resident arrested late in December 1864. The narrative says officials held him responsible for his adult son's failure to report for the draft. Hubler was confined at Harrisburg and Fort Mifflin, paroled on March 15, 1865 because of declining health, and died at home on July 4. Source: John A.
