Jacob Daniel Webster Greene was prosecuted for criminal libel in Harrison County, Indiana for distributing antiwar reprints critical of President Truman and the Korean War. He was first committed to a hospital for the criminally insane for six months 'for observation' — then found sane — and held for trial.
