Judicial source confirms release and video-review dismissal
Judge Fuentes’s November20,2025 Briggs opinion identifies the defendant charged as Hubert Mazur and records through counsel that Mazur uses the name Luci Mazur. It confirms September27 arrest and September29 conditional release, separately recounting that the government dropped the misdemeanor complaint October7 after reviewing additional body-worn-camera footage. The opinion says this misdemeanor apparently was not presented to a federal grand jury; it does not describe a personal grand-jury no bill. The existing two-day custody interval and stored alias remain unchanged. The October dismissal is not an additional week in jail.
