Original charging document
Source complaint: The September 28, 2025 complaint in United States v. Collins and Robledo, No. 1:25-cr-00608, Document 1, pages 1–5, alleges a September 27 incident outside the Broadview immigration detention facility. Page 4 records Robledo’s detention and Collins’s arrest during that incident and expressly states that both had lawful permits to carry their firearms. The complaint charges alleged physical-contact interference or assault under 18 U.S.C. §111(a)(1), not unlawful firearm possession. Its affiant explains that he did not personally observe the alleged physical contact and relied on other agents’ accounts. These are charging allegations, not findings of guilt. The complaint’s September 28 filing date does not replace the existing September 27 arrest and custody dates, and this document does not establish either defendant’s later release or final disposition.
Judicially confirmed release and later no-bill dismissal
Judge Fuentes’s November20,2025 Briggs opinion individually confirms that Robledo was arrested September27 at Broadview and released on conditions September29. The grand jury returned a no bill on October7, and the government dismissed the Collins/Robledo felony Section111 complaint October8. These later prosecution events do not extend the existing two-day physical detention or replace its September29 release endpoint. Release conditions and pretrial supervision are not counted as jail. This supplies a signed judicial source for the chronology without treating the original complaint allegations as established guilt.
