Biography
A maritime striker identified only as Hollen was among six workers arrested and held in San Pedro on assault, riot and arson charges during the May 1934 waterfront strike. A May 17 dispatch reports that all six were bailed out on $1,000 each. It does not expand Hollen’s given name or establish the individual arrest day, physical discharge day, later verdict or complete confinement duration.
