Biography
GeorgeKalert, printed Geo.Kalert, was arrested upon arrival in Hutchinson while collecting Communist ballot signatures. A fellow organizer’s June29-published letter says he learned of the arrest upon reaching town June10,1932. This establishes arrest by then, not an exact intake day, charge or final disposition.
