Biography
Genevieve Jackson was prosecuted with her husband Jacob after an August 1952 encounter in which New York City police severely beat him. The couple accused the officers of brutality, but a court instead convicted the Jacksons of assaulting police. Surviving reports establish the conviction but have not established the sentence or any time served.
