Biography
The July 16 Western Worker reports Cannery and Agricultural Workers Industrial Union organizer Frank James pulled from his car when returning from Hayward to Oakland, badly beaten and jailed. The same report discusses more than400 apricot pickers striking in solidarity with the maritime workers. It supplies no precise personal arrest date, charge, discharge, sentence or complete service total. Source: https://www.marxists.org/history/usa/pubs/westernworker/1934/v3-n27-31-jul-1934.pdf#page=8
