Biography
F. Funes appears in the photograph caption of the Imperial Valley prisoners published in the July 1930 Labor Defender, page 137. The caption identifies Funes as the first person in the second row and explicitly states that the charges were dropped. The accompanying account describes the April 1930 repression of agricultural-worker organizing at El Centro. The source supplies only an initial and surname for Funes; no full given name, individual arrest date, formal charge, custody duration or exact dismissal date is established.
