Biography
Ernesto Wilson, known as King Yayo, was charged as an associate of the Greensboro Latin Kings. A jury convicted him of racketeering conspiracy on November 21, 2012. On May 1, 2013, Judge James A. Beaty denied his new-trial and acquittal motions. The additional assault and firearm convictions discussed in that opinion belong to Cornell. Wilson later received a seventeen-year sentence on August 13, 2013; no later release is established by the May ruling. 2010s audit verified October 12, 2026: The DOJ sentencing report distinguishes the August 13, 2013 sentencing hearing from its August 15 announcement: Wilson received 204 months and three years supervised release. A current same-name BOP candidate has an age discrepancy and no independently established prisoner-number bridge; its projected release is not an actual release date and has not been recorded.
