Erin Sieber was a Catholic Worker who in April 2001 carried out a symbolic disarmament action at the Pentagon. She was arrested July 20, 2001 and sentenced to six months in federal prison.

1995 custody evidence and limits

Rick Sieber’s Fall 1995 Pathfinder account names Erin Sieber among the four Jubilee Plowshares East participants physically held in Newport News City Jail after the August 7,1995 action. The movement chronology says Erin, Michele and Amy were released on bond several weeks after the September 19 state trial. This establishes a separate1995 initial detention, not an uninterrupted span into later federal sentencing and not the already recorded2001 Pentagon case. The exact bond-release day and later intake are not supplied. No gender or demographic field is inferred from this historical account.

Nukewatch Pathfinder, Fall 1995, printed page 7. Plowshares movement chronology, relevant1994/1995 action.

The October 1996 Witness names this Jubilee Plowshares East participant among four activists sentenced in Norfolk federal court on September 6, 1996. Its group range of eight to eighteen months does not identify the individual imposed term or measure actual service.
