Biography
Emilio Alonzo was an Argentine agricultural worker prosecuted after the April 14, 1930 raid on the Agricultural Workers Industrial League meeting in Imperial Valley, California. Frank Spector's account in the July 1930 Labor Defender, pages 136-137, names Alonzo among the nine defendants and identifies him in the group photograph. A press-time update states that Alonzo had been deported to Argentina. The article reports criminal-syndicalism charges and initial detention at El Centro, but does not establish the deportation day, custody duration or a sentence imposed on Alonzo. The source's deportation report is preserved without inferring subsequent exile duration.
