Eli Boies was a Wellington, Ohio abolitionist among the twenty men committed to the Cuyahoga County Jail for the 1858 Oberlin–Wellington Rescue of the freedom-seeker John Price. He obtained release on 500-dollar bail on May 5, 1859.
