Biography

The January 9, 1931 Daily Worker’s delayed Milwaukee report says unemployed leaders Burke and Clark were welcomed at Miller Hall on December 30 after release from jail that day. They are identified only by surname. The article’s earlier January 29 wording conflicts with its December 30 continuation; the release is retained as the explicitly printed December 30, without inventing an arrest date, charge, sentence, or served total. No unrelated namesake is merged. Source: https://marxists.architexturez.net/history/usa/pubs/dailyworker/1931/v08-n008-NY-jan-09-1931-DW-LOC.pdf#page=3
