Biography

Branden Michael Wolfe was federally prosecuted for helping feed a fire at the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct and taking police equipment during the May 28, 2020 protests following George Floyd’s murder. Police arrested him on June 3, 2020 while he was wearing police body armor taken from the building. Wolfe pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson on December 22, 2020. On May 4, 2021, a federal judge sentenced him to 41 months in prison, two years of supervised release, and $12 million in joint restitution.
