Biography
Bill Booth is individually named among workers arrested at a Communist election meeting in San Francisco’s Jefferson Park in the Daily Worker, October 31, 1934, page 3. The October 30 dispatch says the arrests were the previous day and all were held under $1,000 cash bail. Its text calls the companions five but enumerates six after two candidates. Existing records for the matching Jefferson Square group cite October 28 from the Western Worker. The inconsistent headcount and October 28/29 date conflict are preserved; this case records only the supported arrest month, without a precise admission or release day. No first name is expanded beyond the printed Bill.
