Biography

Antonio Scott Zamora was an Occupy ICE PDX protester and day-laborer advocate with the Voz Workers’ Rights Education Project. He was arrested on August 27, 2019 in the case arising from the August 17 counter-protest against a Proud Boys rally in Portland, Oregon. The arrest was publicly reported August 30. A grand jury charged him with felony riot and two counts of attempted second-degree criminal mischief.

Arrest date corrected October 12, 2026: Gillian Flaccus's contemporary Associated Press report, dated Friday August 30, 2019, states Zamora was arrested Tuesday, August 27. August 30 is the announcement date, not the arrest. The unsupported August 30 jail-admission date and court institution used as a custody facility are cleared. No actual booking or release endpoint is established by the report.
