Biography

William Greenberg was a New York fur-strike defendant. The June 15, 1933 Daily Worker reports that he was being held on felonious-assault charges following the June 13 clash and that bail was set at $2,500 each for the three named defendants. The report does not say that bail had been posted or establish an exact jail admission, discharge, trial outcome or completed duration. The accusations are the prosecution’s allegations.
