Biography
Tyre Wayne Means Jr. was federally prosecuted for setting fire to a Seattle Police Department patrol car and taking a rifle from another damaged police vehicle during the May 30, 2020 protests following George Floyd’s murder. Federal agents arrested him on October 14, 2020. Means pleaded guilty to arson and possession of a stolen firearm on March 10, 2021, and a federal judge sentenced him on June 17, 2021 to five years in prison.
