Biography
On September 7, 2020 during a racial justice protest in Seattle, WA sparked by George Floyd's murder, Justin Christopher Moore was carrying a Corona box containing 12 Molotov cocktails — glass beer bottles filled with gasoline with bandanas as wicks. He abandoned the box near the Seattle Police Officers' Guild as Seattle PD moved in to disperse the crowd. Arrested December 9, 2021 from video evidence and electronic-device records of co-conspirators. Sentenced to 40 months federal prison.
Portrait provenance
Low-resolution video still of Justin Christopher Moore wearing a hood and surgical face covering, reproduced as Figure 3 on page 16 of the November 23, 2021 federal criminal complaint, United States v. Justin Christopher Moore, 2:21-mj-00628-BAT, document 1. The accompanying affidavit explicitly identifies the dark-blue-jacketed person in Figure 3 as Moore through a witness identification. This is not an unobscured headshot. The embedded original image was extracted and cropped to 132 by 177 pixels without enlargement, retouching, or generated details. The affidavit identification is documentary attribution, not an independent facial-recognition claim.
Birth-year evidence
The original December 9, 2021 Justice Department charging announcement identifies Justin Christopher Moore as 34. This supports birth in 1986 or 1987. Later announcements repeat age 34; without a direct birthday those repetitions are not treated as definitive proof of the exact year. Sources: Source 1, Source 2. Birth is recorded approximately, not as a verified exact birthday; possible years: 1986, 1987.
