Biography
Troy “Blocko” Claiborne is a prisoner at Red Onion State Prison in Virginia whose supporters campaigned for legal representation and investigation of alleged officer violence and retaliation. UPROAR’s May–June 2025 account described a June 2024 assault in segregation and an April 17, 2025 incident in which officers allegedly crushed his hand in a cell’s tray slot. Supporters said a false disciplinary charge and a sixty-day phone restriction followed, while medical evidence and treatment were withheld. These allegations are attributed to the campaign; his original conviction and custody endpoints remain unestablished.
