Biography
Tommy “Yukeena” Dotson was an Alabama prisoner associated with the Atmore-Holman prison-rights struggle. Contemporary accounts report that guards beat him to death in March 1974.
The February 25, 1975 Mass Media report identifies him as Tommy (Yukeema) Dotson and dates his death at Holman Prison to March 13, 1974. It reports that five guards took him naked and handcuffed toward the showers, and attributes the account of his fatal beating to prisoner witnesses. It also reports that two other IFA members were charged with giving him a knife, while disputing that account.
