Biography
Theodore Narusheff was a union organizer convicted of atrocious assault in February 1951, five years after the 1946 Phelps-Dodge copper strike in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Company gunmen had shot strikers during the dispute, but prosecutors proceeded against the strikers. Surviving reports confirm Narusheff’s conviction but have not yet established his sentence or whether he was confined.
