Young Black Oakland man convicted of a 1977 burglary despite his half-brother's confession to the crime and alibi witnesses; The Black Panther Vol. 17 no.19 (1977) reports his appeal after a judge denied a new trial.
An October 1977 defense appeal reported that Tenola Gamble was imprisoned at San Quentin. It described his half-brother Eric Jones’s confession, alibi testimony placing Gamble in Monterey and testimony by co-defendant Clasten Vaughn at sentencing. Attorney Doron Weinberg was pursuing an appeal. The newspaper alternated between burglary and armed robbery in describing the conviction.
