Biography
One of the 'San Quentin Two,' convicted with Eugene 'Ernest' Graham of killing a guard at the Deuel Vocational Institution in 1973 and sentenced to death. Their defense campaign argued the men were targeted because of their organizing inside California prisons. Documented in PFOC Breakthrough magazine.
A prisoner correspondent describes Allen and Ernest Graham being isolated after the November 27, 1973 Tracy guard death, a November1974 hung jury, a subsequently granted venue change and a planned March8,1976 San Francisco retrial.
